finally got my lazy bum down to blogging...

went KL with my sis last weekemd from 25th May (Friday) - 27th May (Sunday)

25th May 2007 (Friday)

cabbed to her place to get a ride together... cabbed to golden mile... took a coach there around 8.15 am... we were at the last row at the upper deck! so shiok! no one behind us~

kinda sleepy but i watched an old school vampire chinese movie on the personal tv first before falling asleep...

stop over for lunch... after that i watched fantastic 4 haha cause the sequel is coming up soon in june or izzit july!

reached our hotel at KL around 3 plus cause there's a bad traffic jam at KL~

we requested for a king-sized bed! haha damn big



our first meal at KL! wanton mee, a plate of roasted pork & gingko beancurd dessert... it was good! wanton had a lot of prawns and the roasted pork was so crispy!



we started shopping around the area after that... went back hotel around 7 plus to put our shopping stuff down... headed to the chinatown a.k.a petaling street around evening time... pasar malam style... a lot stalls selling imitation handbags & jewellery!

dinner was at this famous grill foodstall... we had sambal sotong and sambal stingray... it only costs $RM13.60 together with 2 rice... can u believe it! in sg, one stingray is like minimum $6 - $8 le! haha freaking cheap! the chilli damn power, the stall's famous for that! we also had this damn cooling longan and lo-han-guo drink... wootz! we shared 3 cups of that!



shopping around somemore till around 11 plus... walked to the street behind our hotel for the dessert stall that my sis say was good!

our hashima & mango sago! the hashima is cheap! and the mango sago had real mangoes stuck at the side, can u see them? there's crushed ice as well and beneath the crushed ice is more mango sago puree! whee~ ultimate shiokness



loot for the day! 5 tops, 4 bottoms, 2 pair of shoes, various makeup, jewellery & 4 clocks... haha not bad considering we only had half of the day~



the clock we bought! it's cute with the changing neon lights! haha... and at $RM10 only



one pair of shoes from vincci~ this shoe shop is like sg's charles & keith or u.r.s! the shoes are of good quality and rather cheap for that kind of quality... on average range from RM$40 - RM$55 to add on, there's a sale going on storewide! minimum 10% maximum 70%! haha... the shoes we bought mostly cost SGD$13, $14 nia~ it's a shoe heaven for us seriously




hehe levi's there comparably cheaper than sg's! sis and i both bought a pair of jeans and 1 pair is about SGD$50 cheaper than sg's stores! hehe my happiest purchase of the day!

26th May 2007 (Saturday)

complimentary breakfast from hotel... it's buffet breakfast... quite a variety of food! roti prata, cereal, fried rice, fried bee hoon, lontong, bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs, porridge, muffins, pastries, croissants, toast bread, other kinds of bread, cheese, ham and i can't remember what else! the prata was good! they cook on the spot in front of u!



cabbed to mid valley shopping centre... shopping! i thought it was very big at first but we went to another shopping centre later in the day and that was so much more bigger!

can't really see from the pictures but the shops seem to stretch forever! and they have north south east west centre courts!



we had kenny roger's for lunch! the kenny roger's there is really cheap! only RM$14.90 for a course meal as below! the piece of chicken is bigger in real life! very filling! 3 side dishes! the cheese macaroni was so good! and muffins included as well~ less than SGD 10 bucks for kenny roger's! RAR why dun we have such good prices in sg! oh by the way, the muffins are heavenly!



didn't combed the entire mid valley cause it was too big! took a cab to another shopping centre called 1 utama...



1 utama's size seriously stunned me to the max! it's U shaped with 3 buildings... they are all linked but just in a U shape formation

it doesn't look that big from the pictures but that's because my camera is not big enough! haha... but seriously, i think can stuff 5 suntec city inside and still have space... there's 7000 parking bays! not lots but bays! each bay dunno got how many lots... i sound sua-ku but it's super BIG... haha... trash mid valley flat!

hehe! there's all kind of shops here! and i can even find forever 21 here! wootz! i pulled my sis in to forever 21 so excitedly! heh! there's a story to be told here! lolz...

went in f21 and shopped la... then i saw this dress i like! sis saw a few tops too! so we went try... tried and we like! but we decided to come back and buy later if let's say we can't get anything much from the rest of the shops... okiez so we put back on the rack... haha 2 hours later, though we bought quite some stuff already, we still thinking abt the f21 clothes...

so we went back! but alas! the size i tried for my dress is like gone! we checked the changing room racks but dun have... sighz! just 2 hours, so fast kanna sold le! then i saw this mannequin wearing the dress! haha i chcked the size and it's the size i tried! so yay-ded! i ask the sales girl if she can take it down for me!

u know what she said? she said no! have to reserve first cause they change the mannequins every thursday! so when they change the clothes, then can they sell it to the person who reserved it... then i am like what the heck i am leaving tml already how to come on thursday! then nvm, we asked another 2 girls... all said the same thing...

then i was thinking why they so inflexible one! since there's some more of the same dress on the rack, just different size, can't they take down the one on the mannequin & give it to me while they take one of the dress from the rack and wear it on the mannequin? it's like such a simple solution right?

my sis knew i wanted the dress badly so she asked if there's anyone in charge that we can talk to... and finally, the salesgirl go ask another supervisor and the supervisor said can... we are like -_-~ it's such a simple thing also must go to so much trouble... but ok la, maybe it's their policy or smth but it's just so inflexible!

so of course, today's best buy is this dress le! lolz everyday also must have 1 best buy!

anyway, we got shoes from vincci again... lolz... i realized while we were there for 3 days, we bought shoes from vincci everyday for the 3 days... haa... i like the shoe shop so much!

mini melts ice cream! this was supper for the day~ as well as the hashima that we ordered takeaway from the dessert shop!



27th May 2007 (Sunday)

breakfast at hotel again! last minute shopping!

had been looking for a working belt for him the past 2 days cause think he will need it... but couldn't find a nice or suitable one... we went isetan on the last day in desperation and finally found one decent belt!

saw this gigantic bear at one of the gift shops! it looks so cute! looks like it's saluting or saying sorry or something~



we bought a lot of stuff last minute... mostly food and clothes! oh! 4 pairs of shoes as well! haha... best buy of the day is the belt i got for him! haha it's of a decent brand but because there's a sale, so the price is not that ex as the initial price! definitely worth it!

after shopping, we went to eat one last time at the dessert shop! had the mango sago again! haha... we ate at this dessert shop for consecutive 3 days! sis made it a point to visit them once a day at night for supper!

took coach back! reached home around 11 plus ba! dead tired! but still managed to unpack, handwash certain clothes and surf the net! haha...

good trip! shopping rocks! my sis is my good shopping kaki also! hehe~ very happy & satisfied with all my purchases! also, it's a good little getaway la~ away from the working world and just relax! =)

i wanted to blog to say that i wun be blogging these few days cause very lazy & tired! but when i reached the page, i suddenly feel like blogging about my KL trip last weekend...

and so i tried loading photos first... but it wouldn't load~ so i guess i shall stick to my initial decision and blog another day

mic's 1st day of work yesterday! haha... it's nice to have someone u know working with u! =)

after work, took a ride from her bf to orchard... wanted to have dinner together but in the end, i've got a movie to catch! sorry mic for pang-seh-ing u 2!

went to the cathay to watch blades of glory with him... it's a funny show... some parts were really crude and wickedly funny... short movie though! i wanna watch pirates of the carribean next!

after the movie, we went for dinner at plaza singapura's food court... the famous ayam penggang indonesian cuisine... whee super nice!

today didn't go to work as i got the tourism specialization interview at ntu... felt a bit sick today and can't wait to head home after the interview... the train ride back was so long & torturing as i just felt like lying on my bed and sleep...

came back home for lunch... slacked around a bit and went to take a nap around 3.30pm... when i woke up, it was like 6.30pm le... though slept for 3 hours le, but still felt sick & lethargic... super sianz...

just packed abit for my KL trip this weekend... very lazy to continue packing... shall leave it to tomorrow... i hope i get better by tomorrow or i am gonna have a very sad trip at KL... sick, can't enjoy much there... please let me be better by tomorrow!

sighz... gotta head back to work tomorrow already...

friday after work i went to paragon to meet my parents, my sis & kylie for dinner at sushi tei...



after dinner, we went to walk around orchard... there's sales going on everywhere! cause apparently, it's the start of the GREAT SINGAPORE SALE! haha!

i saw a nice pair of pumps at robinson's! but can't decide to get it anotz! so i just leave the decision to the weekend la when i have more time to consider! i mean the fact that i am even considering to buy anotz means i dun like the shoes THAT much right? if i like it so much, i wouldn't be able to resist the temptation and bought it at that instant... haha some wacko theory

saturday!

i spent the earlier half of the day at home... hehe... watching my dvds! i finally finished watching heroes and got started on my hk drama, the brink of law! yay!

was supposed to have a jc class outing but a lot of things happened at the last minute and it was postponed... was prepared to stay at home for the rest of the night le but weile and i decided to head out for dinner at compass point... we went to mos burger as it had been a long time since i ate that!

after eating and talking, there was not much left to do... but i so dun feel like going home... so i suggested to go drinking! we went cold storage and 7-11 in search of drinks but nothing seems appealing enough... he suggested going to nearby pubs and voila~ we ended up at one of the pubs at serangoon gardens...

went liquid kitchen... my first time at that place... it's not too bad...

we were seated at the 2nd floor outdoors... the ambience was quite good la although there's not much of a view... but i took photos anyway... haha...

sunday was not too good though... i woke up super early despite the fact that i slept quite late the night before...

went for japanese lunch buffet at akira japanese restaurant with my parents, sis, sis-in-law & kylie... it's near emerald hill road at orchard... it's yum yum! the food super fresh! i had countless plates of age dashi tofu and salmon sashimi... lolz... the sashimi is fresh and thickly sliced... hee! power! all the other dishes were very nice too... but i didn't take photos haha...

shopping after lunch! paragon, far east, robinson's & john little... walk till my legs chui!

i saw him with his friends at far east coincidentally... i was giving him attitude for the past few days and so i was quite evil and ignored him... was feeling sianz cause didn't expect to bump into him... of all the places in orchard that we could go, we had to end up at the same shopping centre at the same time... RAR!

i did met up with him & his friends around dinnertime though since we knew that both of us are in orchard...

upset upset upset as i felt that he got no time for me nowadays! sometimes wanna update him abt my day or hear about his day but after talking awhile to him, jiu suddenly no mood to continue cause i think he dun care also... or i feel that he dun have time or mood to listen to me talk... or else, he seemed too tired to make proper comments/replies... of course, all this is i assume myself one la... how true it is or how he really feel, i dunno~

the way he does things just make me feel that i am not important to him anymore~ haha... maybe i am a sucky & demanding girlfriend ba! actually, now i think about it, maybe he had done nothing wrong la... it's just that i think i had gotten cranky to a rather unreasonable extent due to pms... =x a rather bad case of pms! and so everything just seem to magnify itself or i just think too much into it and add in my own assumptions and get upset for nothing

haha i do think what i just typed is a load of crap... i shall head to sleep now!

on a side note, i trimmed my hair today! =) and on another side note, i am going to KL this weekend with my sister! shopping here i come! maybe when i come back, i wun be so cranky anymore and things will be back to normal for me and him again! =)

while bathing just now, i think i had realized something... your priorities had changed definitely and i think i am not exactly at the top of your list right now... maybe somewhere at the bottom?

oh well, on a sidenote, i think this is a bad weekend. full stop.

they say drinking can help u to drown your sorrows, i think it's bullshit... i am still sober enough to be sad...

quite a few days nv blog le haha... i have not much time to come online these few days! come online, by the time i finished blog hopping and surfing the net, it's already past midnight and i am too tired to blog le... =p

12th May 2007 (Saturday)

in the previous entry, i blogged before i went cycling... i cycled from my house to hougang area and ended up at punggol park... it was just a half hour ride there... the park is quiet and calm...took some photos of the scenery...

i cycled back home after that and bathed =) feel good after exercising!

went to meet mindy at city hall around evening after that... we went thai express for dinner...

13th May 2007 Sunday

today is mother's day! sis bought the famous popiah skin from joo chiat and the popiah ingredients back home for lunch...

there's popiah skin, prawns, the filling, bean sprouts, lettuce, the condiments, peanuts, garlic and eggs! hehe... everything is DIY! can add whatever u want and wrap it yourself... lolz... sis bought kueh pie tee also! another form of the popiah but in a crispy cone

my sister-in-law is the most pro le... her wrapping skill is power... all the rest suck including me... =p somehow wrap till got hole de or eat halfway everything will spill out... lolz...

sis bought the famous tiong bahru fishballs also... in addition, she made tau suan at my house... haha... too bad i dun like to eat tau suan...

all our food left after we finished lunch...



mahjong session after that... 6 plus he called me and told me his mother's day dinner cancelled and asked me to go orchard to choose a mother's day present with him...

we bought a pendant for my mum and a pair of earrings for his mum from taka jewellery... costs a bomb... =( bank account depleted... but when i see my mum all smiles as she put the pendant on, it's worth it! =) can see my mum likes it alot haha...

work as usual... went orchard after work to buy something... met him at novena after that and we went for dinner at bedok blk 85... ba chor mee stall was closed but got nice porridge at least... haha...

15th May 2007 Tuesday

today is our 500th day together... haha... so we met at orchard after work for dinner...

i gave him the present i bought secretly at orchard yesterday hee... a party tank from newurbanmale... i like it! but i dun have photos... lolz... he got me this white heart shape necklace from chomel... can see it in the pics coming up...

went to pasta cafe at takashimaya for dinner...

bahz went home after that... i got super cranky after dinner... bad day!

and i realized i forgot to pass him the receipt to exchange the item... so have to pass it to him the next day...

16th May 2007 Wednesday

hmmm... went to marina square after work... i went to change my m)phosis top that i bought on saturday... =p i wanna exchange cause i can't find any bottom to match the yellow top... and so i exchanged the yellow top for a blue top of a different design... haha... i wanna buy white capri pants cause it matches the blue top perfectly!!!

went for dinner at marina food loft with him... he told me about this roasted delight stall that sells very nice char siew + duck rice... it's really very very nice! i never like to eat roasted delights with rice de but this one is really quite power... i finished everything! haha... yummy...

headed to citilink's newurbanmale after that... finally got the size and design he like... now instead of the volleyball tank, he got the swimming one... and it's dark blue instead of green... the swimming one looks good too! exchanged and went home le... today is exchange day! hee...

so that's about it for now... been going home late these few days and that is why i dun have time to blog! okiez dokez... i took like 2 hours to blog this cause i was half watching tv and half chatting on msn... and it's 11pm already... damn... i dun even have time to read my cleo magazine which i bought last week!

and i am still cranky now RAR! sianz
