.::We Are Back!::.

hiyaz diary...

we are back in sg! i had a fantastic time at hk with baby for the past 8 days!

felt kinda sad now though for i missed hong kong lots!!! all the eating, shopping and sightseeing... feels good doing touristy stuff everyday... haha...

will try to do up the hong kong blog entry asap! gonna take some time as i have 1100+ photos, a few videos and 5.38GB worth of memories haha~

school's starting soon for the both of us... well, to be honest, i am feeling apprehensive towards the next 4 years... to me, it's filled with uncertainties with lots of question marks and what-ifs... haha it feels exactly like 2 years ago during his ns enlistment... bleahz...

i keep thinking what will happen now that he will be starting school as well... will there be any major differences in our mindset when i step into the working world next year? what if we couldn't make it?

i asked myself these questions 2 years ago also except that time it was in a different context... that time, it's more of like what will happen when i go to uni and he's stuck in ns for 2 years? can i cope with meeting him over weekends? haha now that i think about it, i had a easier time during his ns years as compared to some other girls...

why? because he's posted to police...

no guard duty = no weekends burnt
no outfield = him being easily contactable
no strict timing on lights out = longer phone calls at night
great bookout timings

though he was involved in ndp and most of his saturdays were burnt, but there were always extra bookout days for them to make up for it... so i guess i am quite lucky in that sense...

i still remember telling myself 2 years ago: if we can pass his ns years, everything will be fine, the experience will make us stronger and it will be a stable r/s once we managed to "survive" this period...

now i think i am too short-sighted that time, never go think about what comes after ns... haa~ i am able to remember all this as i was reading through my written diary sometime ago... i started writing in this diary during my jc years and i still do now... but i only write in it when i am extremely troubled or extremely happy... haha otherwise, i just blog here...

there were lots of thoughts inside of which some i don't even remember until now... =x and it really feels very weird to be reading through my entries 2 years ago... it's mostly about him and uni but i am already past that stage now and all my doubts and fears at that time seems so silly heh...

roars... After Travel Syndrome (a.k.a ATS) ah!!! haha u all might be thinking i started this entry blogging about my trip but how come suddenly turn emo... because to me, the end of this trip will mean the start of uncertainties... yeah, enjoy 8 days le, now is time to come back to reality... =(

this sunday is baby's 21st birthday and i have no concrete plans as of now =( i better get my brain cracking soon!

.::Hong Kong, Macau & Shen Zhen Trip 2008::.

hiyaz diary...

went hong kong with baby from 23rd July - 30th July! had been planning for this trip since March and the 4 months wait is definitely worth it! had been doing lots of forums-reading to get more info on the places to go and food to eat... we had such a great time over there!!! =D and i shall now let the pictures do the talking hehe

Day 1 - 23rd July 2008 (Wednesday)

he did this the night before, haha can see he's excited too!

we took a 6.40am flight and my brother drove both of us to the airport at around 5am -_-z damn sleepy la haha but the feeling of excitement is greater!

preparing to check in!

he made sandwiches for breakfast!

and we were counting our HKD$ after eating when we realized the amount dun tally!!! we went to exchange money quite a few times so everything was in separate envelopes... he called home and asked his mum to check his drawer... turned out he left an envelope of money at home lo... gua gua gua...

by then it was like 6am already and we are supposed to be at the boarding gate by 6.30am latest... he asked his mum to take cab down to pass us the envelope, if not, we will be SGD$700 poorer in hk lol... but his mum couldn't get a cab at 1st =( when she got on a cab, it was like 6.20am already oh my god i nearly had an heart attack for the next 10 minutes... she reached at 6.30am and we faster went in and ran like mad to the boarding gate... it was so far away and we really ran like dogs... the pa system was calling our names too and it was so embarrassing argh! finally made it on the plane in the end...

was telling him on the plane, omg we started our trip with a BANG! hahaha... bubbye sg~

and up we go~ the sky was a pretty colour at that timing hehe

slept a bit on the plane, read mags and played some games on my laptop haha... after 3 hours plus, we finally saw land!

hello hk hehe~

hk's airport

took the airport cityflyer bus A21 to mongkok! and it's quite fast, took only around half an hour!

our room was not ready yet when we reached at 1pm so we went to have lunch first! our 1st meal in hk, wanton noodles at a random place nearby!

only HKD$10, less than SGD$2!!!

checked in after that and we went out exploring!

@ mongkok MTR, just a few steps away from where we stayed!

on the mtr train

reached causeway bay

times square

went to a 茶餐厅 (cha can teng) called 太平馆 (Tai Ping Koon) to eat... pork chop noodles and ham egg sandwich

shopped around causeway bay before heading to central... saw the largest asia coach outlet there, 3 storeys! we also walked past landmark shopping centre whereby there are all kinds of luxury boutiques there and the interior of the mall is so pretty!!!

went shopping at the h & m outlet @ central! it was hugeee and bought a few things there! throughout the trip, bee keeps going to h & m and he really got ALOT of stuff from h & m... he says it's his favourite brand from now on lol...

dinner was at this highly raved yung kee roast goose restaurant @ central... the decor here is really very outstanding! along the whole street, the most glam restaurant is this liao haha the rest are all quite shabby... wun ever miss the gold signboard one if u are walking along that street!

it was very crowded inside and we were very lucky to get a seat at the empty VIP floor on the 4th storey... damn nice compared to the normal tables at the 1st 3 storeys...

our appetizer was this century egg with ginger... it's yummy when eaten together!

we also ordered pig liver soup with vegetables... the soup was very clear and sweet, brewed very long i presume! the pig liver were thickly sliced and it's damn damn damn good! very soft and juicy, never eaten a pig liver that's so yummy before haha...

we ordered half a goose and polished everything off! just the 2 of us and we were damn full after that... haha... the goose is indeed very shiok! but i still think it taste like duck meat haha...

happy us after a nice meal! though pricey, it's worth it!

along Lan Kwai Fong

coach outlet window display!

saw arty farty buildings while walking back to central mtr...

oh ya when we went back to our hotel and wanted to go out for supper, i saw a ntu friend in the lift! omg like what a coincidence... haha we live on the 7th floor while he lives on the 13th floor...

Day 2 - 24th July 2008 (Thursday)

breakfast at some random cha can teng...

olympics beach volleyball display at mongkok mtr

we took train to sheung wan to get to the Hong Kong Macau Ferry Terminal as we are taking TurboJet ferry to Macau!

we slept all the way for the 1 hour ferry ride as we couldn't get much sleep the night before... when we woke up, we had reached macau already hehe!

and remember i was saying last night i saw a ntu friend in the lift? i saw him again in macau... -_-z like what are the chances manz~

we took a shuttle bus from the macau ferry terminal to venetian hotel... this hotel is the newest around in macau and we wanted to take a look at the venetian casino hehe!

the view along the way was fantastic!

this is the grand lisboa casino!

their flats, look like our HDB doesn't it haha

yay venetian hotel, it's damn biggg this is just 1 part of it

i saw this ancient phone and wanted to take a photo with it... i thought it was not working but when i picked it up, there was a dial tone and a receptionist picked up... then i am like oh shit! haha i hanged up the moment bee snapped a shot lol!

at venetian's lobby

heading towards the casino and we managed to snap a few shots of the tables before anyone caught us hehe!

got lost after that for venetian is at the extreme far end and we wanted to head to the other end... wasted a lot of time taking shuttle buses but still ended up at the wrong place... haha... moreover, i dunno what's the chinese / cantonese name of the place we wanted to go to, only know it in english and nobody could get what we are talking about =x

and the most stupid thing of all, we never take map just now when we are at the ferry terminal!!! all thanks to me la actually cause i told him dun need... lol~ ended up we went back to the ferry terminal again to get maps and found our way =p

took the public bus to senado square and had our first meal there... we were famished cause we never eat anything since breakfast and it was already 4 plus 5 by then...

porridge and wanton mee

fountain at senado square

along senado square

reached our next destination after some walking: st. paul's ruins! i love it here! been here once before but it is still very interesting to me!

we took the stairs up to the ruins and got a magnificent view!

can see grand lisboa from st. paul's as well!

there were lots of pastelarias near st. paul's but i only wanna go to this particular one called koi kei! hehe, went once the last time i was in macau and the almond biscuits, egg floss crepes, ginger candies and bak kwa there are damn good!

we bought a lot at koi kei and what he is holding is only half of what we bought haha spent SGD$100 plus here and we got 25 boxes of the egg floss crepes alone not to mention other stuff... hehe carried the bulky bags around and people were all staring at us, think we really overkill here...

despite carrying the bulky bags, we still went around to the other casinos to see see but we took a cab of course... can't imagine taking bus...

wynn casino - damn grand! all the casinos here are very grand but wynn is my favourite casino of all, i will say why later =p

view of grand lisboa casino from wynn

wynn have golden rotating doors wootz

okay i shall start to elaborate why i like wynn the most!

firstly, they have this tree of prosperity performance every half hour at one of the lobbies... it was awesome! i have the video of the entire show but i shall upload it here another time! i simply couldn't elaborate in words how fantastic the show was!

the ceiling is one of the focus of the show! before the show, it will be closed and u can see different Chinese and Western astrological symbols carved on it!

when the show starts, the ceiling will open up and there will be tile patterns appearing on a screen... the patterns vary and are all very artistic hahaha

after awhile, the screen will split into half also and down comes a gigantic chandelier... then a real tree will rise from the floor's globe as seen in the next picture...

then they will play a nice chinese song and people start to throw coins to make wishes... the tree will also rotate and appear golden under the laser lights haha... u guys must really see the video to get what i mean!

then after the show we went to gamble hehe... we are cheapskates and only exchanged 2 tokens... and we won 5 back just by playing big small cause we dunno how to play the rest~ yay! 2nd reason why i like wynn! =p

then we went outside to take some photos by the wynn's performance lake... and there were fountain performances every 15 minutes here... a magnificent display using water, lights and fire... water and fire dancing to music haha we took a video here as well hehehe... and no doubt, this is the 3rd reason why i like wynn!

wynn is seriously damn grand and both the tree of prosperity and this fountain display really really awed us to the max!

heh the fountain show started while we were cam-whoring!

haha wynn macau created a memorable night for us... i was telling bee bee that this day will definitely be a memory that will stay with me forever!

went back to the macau ferry terminal at 10 plus at night to head back to hk... but the next timing with available tix is at 12 midnight... so bo bian, we went around finding places to eat our dinner cum supper lo...

finally rot till 12 midnight and got on the ferry =D slept throughout the ride again =x

and by the time we reached hk, it was already 1am... took a cab from sheung wan back to mongkok... totally shagged but happy with the macau day trip =D

had dessert at 许留山 (hui lau shan)! we will have this almost every night and we always ordered the same thing - 鸳鸯捞丸子 the mini glutinous rice balls set... can choose 2 type of juices and they will pour it side by side in the boat bowl, dunno why it wun mix with each other... comes with a bowl of fruits as well! hee the 丸子 qq one, damn chewy, i like!!!

Day 3 - 25th July 2008 (Friday)

shen zhen day trip today! but we went to festival walk shopping centre first to shop around till 1 plus before taking the train all the way to 罗湖 (Lo Wu) where the customs are

we went to the Windows of the World (世界之窗 a.k.a 小人国) at the far end of shen zhen... never been there before and heard that it's a nice place with various famous miniature attractions worldwide... it was bloody bloody hot when we reached there, it's really horrendous! worst heat i had ever experienced... and we have to resort to carrying an umbrella cause it was way too hot...

and the sad thing is cause shen zhen was not very safe, we didn't bring iggy along to take photos... but this place is obviously for taking photos -_-z so we went to rent a film camera over there instead and all pictures below are developed from film and scanned into my comp so quality a bit low =p

the place was quite nice for sightseeing but i would had enjoyed it more if it wasn't so hot... half the time there, i really dun wanna walk any further and just wanna get out of there and back into the comfort of the air-conditioned train...

after Shi Jie Zhi Chuang, it was already 4 plus and we went to 老街 (Lao Jie) station for shopping! had a meal at ajisen and it was so cheap there as compared to Singapore! =( shopping at Lao Jie was quite alright, both of us got a few things from here... after that, we headed to Lo Wu to shop but it was mostly imitation goods here and nothing else... so we went back to HK, took a shower and went out again for supper!

Day 4 - 26th July 2008 (Saturday)

we always set the alarm to wake up early but never did we succeed once... haha we will snooze the alarm for a few times before we off it completely and head back to sleep only to wake up 1, 2 hours later and realize oops we overslept A-G-A-I-N... hahaha...

this morning was no exception... =x headed to the HK cultural centre for dim sum as there's this restaurant there which i absolutely love!

the restaurant is called Serenade 映月楼 (which i later understand that it means "reflection of the moon) and i like it because of its pretty view of the Victoria Harbour!

we looked damn sleepy while waiting for our food to come cause not enough sleep!!!

too bad we didn't thought of requesting for a window seat for the view

we ate alot alot here and our stomachs were filled to the brim after this meal =x bee bee keep scolding me cause i made him eat all the leftovers haha... i love the egg custard bun and bird's nest egg tarts here the most!!! but i must say the rest of the dim sum were very good as well!

normal egg tarts, bird's nest egg tarts, har gow and siew mai

char siew 肠粉, pan fried carrot cake, egg custard bun and char siew bao

皮蛋瘦肉粥 and osmanthus cake 桂花糕 (taste like osmanthus-flavoured agar agar)

with each picture, there is more and more food on the table hehe

the harbour view from the restaurant...

before leaving the restaurant...

how could we miss taking shots at the harbour =D it was so bright and sunny!

my favourite shot at the harbour hehe

the clock tower at Tsim Sha Tsui

we are olympics gold medallists! =p

went to the huge esprit outlet at Tsim Sha Tsui! we bought lotsa clothes here and spent a bomb =(

beginning our conquest hahaha...

went to the nearby Harbour City shopping centre after that... can see the StarVirgofrom here! haha if you guys got watch 命中注定我爱你, this is the place whereby Anna is supposed to get on the cruise and the cruise is where the story of 纪存希 and 陈欣怡 begins =D

3 storey LV

high tea - roast goose noodles and pork chop macaroni

hong kong's famous 鸡蛋仔... if you are craving for this in sg, u can find it at plaza sing's food court on the 6th floor, it's near the fruit juice stall at the entrance!

granville street @ Tsim Sha Tsui - lots of mini shops here!

our loots from esprit

went back to our place to shower and change! and off we go to the victoria peak!!! very romantic to watch the night view here with that special someone! we took a cab up from central cause the peak tram's queue was simply too longgg (probably cause it's saturday night)

wanted to catch the symphony of lights show at 8pm from the peak but we were a bit late and couldn't see much lights already!

best shot of the day!

went to the madame tussaud's wax museum after that at the peak! we took photos with every single wax figure and there's really a lot of pics taken here =p most of the wax figures look so real but of course there are also some which dun resemble the real person much =x

he was trying to be lame here and act cool like aaron kwok =x

"gandhi: dun steal my stick!!!"

he looks freaking gross here with the sumo suit on... big boobs and tummy omg haha

my fists looked so puny as compared to his boxing gloves -_-z

madonna has sharp pointy cone-shaped boobs haha!

and out of nowhere, we found a room with mirrors!!!

the museum also have this fright show whereby u walk into a jail and mad prisoners will come out from nowhere to scare u...

our souvenirs from the museum! photo with jacky chan made into a set of 2 key chains!

exit of the museum... phew! really take photos take until i very sian!

the little pig is called mcdull 麦兜兜! apparently, it's a very famous cartoon character, but i never see it before!!! they are very cute nonetheless and can be found all over the peak galleria!

by then it's almost 12 midnight and we took a cab down again cause the peak tram queue at the top of the peak is equally long -_-z took a cab to star ferry pier and took star ferry back to kowloon island! a mere 10 minutes ride which is only HKD$2.50!!! less than SGD$0.50 lo! the harbour which we alighted is the same victoria harbour as seen at serenade... doesn't it look totally different at night? =D

went for supper at the very nice porridge place near our place! it's called 海景粥店 cheap and absolutely yummy!!! discovered this place randomly and it is like a must-go for us everyday (no matter for breakfast or supper), just like 许留山 haha...

fried noodles - nice!

and this is the thing which i missed the most! 炸两! it's basically fried doughstick wrapped in rice rolls... sounds simple? but it's the yummiest thing ever ever ever!!! i crave for this everyday manz... it is absolutely heavenly when dipped into the soya sauce! woohoo~ wun ever find this in sg =( bee bee and i love it to the max!

the shop is very famous for the porridge as well and i always order their lean meat porridge with pig blood cubes! sounds so gross right, pig blood cubes but it is good!!!

Day 5 - 27th July 2008 (Sunday)

not very fantastic fishball noodles for breakfast...

today is shopping at tung chung citygate shopping mall! lots of factory outlets here in air-conditioned comfort!

bought quite a few things from nike, adidas, esprit, quiksilver, body shop, triumph and pedder! hehe... then went for lunch at delifrance!

continued shopping after lunch!

us trying to act stupid at the optical 88 outlet =x

after somemore shopping, legs really going to break already so we went to pacific coffee company for high tea~

finally combed the whole citygate around 7 plus at night... hehehe... went back to our place to unload our shopping loots before heading out for dinner at 9 plus!

we had our dinner at the porridge place again!

walked to the sports section along Fa Yuen Street to look at running shoes!

wanted to buy the left design initially but decided to reconsider and thank god i did cause i found a red nike shoe which i absolutely love the next day at another nike shop!

after looking at sports stuff, we headed to the ladies street night market and bought lots of DVD serials cause it was so cheap! got ourselves some cute towels also haha... i always come hk to buy my towels cause it's cute and of very good quality! including the ones i have bought this time, i have 5 of such towels at home now =p

许留山 for supper and this time it's mango juice & strawberry juice! =D

Day 6 - 28th July 2008 (Monday)

meatballs and wanton noodles! the meatballs are very nice!!! and bee bee loves the honey lemon drink here!

headed to tung chung again cause we wanted to go to lantau island via the ngong ping 360 cable car to see the big buddha and the cable car station is at tung chung...

really very impressed by this cable car leh! the whole journey took around 25 minutes (super long!) and we keep going higher and higher! shioky pie can!!!!!! magnificent view with the sea and forests below u!

yay we reached the ngong ping village which was near the big buddha!

end of ngong ping village and nearing the flight of stairs leading to the big buddha... this is the po lin monastery 寶林寺

climbed up the long flight of stairs to reach the big buddha... took a funny video on the way up and i will upload it together with the rest of the macau videos!

didn't spend much time here for we are still heading back to tung chung to buy some things and to disneyland after that...

on the way down, we got the whole cable car to ourselves!!!

went back to tung chung citygate to get some stuff that we couldn't decide whether to buy or not the day before... =x he bought a pair of running shoes from adidas and i bought a pair of juicy couture shoes from pedder!!! omg it was love at first sight with the jc shoes but i couldn't decide whether to get it at first cause the price was a bit steep even after discount... but after 1 night, i am still thinking about it and so i went back to get it! i love the jc charms on it!!!

next up was disneyland~ it's my 2nd time there but still quite enjoyable! they changed their tix design already and it's much cuter now!

the disney train

and look at his bird face haha i told him i will definitely post this pic up =x

the lamp post with the character that i like the most!

by the fountain

the entrance

main street u.s.a

grabbed a bite at the bakery! the pizza there is unexpectedly yummy!

after eating, we manage to catch the daily mickey water parade! they really spray water everywhere!

after the parade we went to watch the Simba show at 1 of the theatres

tarzan treehouse at adventureland

sleeping beauty castle at fantasyland

we also managed to watch the high school musical show

our 1st ride - orbitron damn kiddish ride but we took it to enjoy the breeze haha

then we went to get our fastpass for the roller coaster ride - space mountain...

went to another theatre to catch the golden mickeys show... this show had changed quite a bit since the last time i watched it! and i love this shot we took of the finale pose!

went for the space mountain ride after the golden mickeys show... it's my fav ride in hk disneyland cause very breezy and fast! bee bee loves it too and we were yelling away while on the ride just for the sake of it =x

there's this camera along the ride somewhere and it caught a damn cock pic of us! we never buy but took the pic down with our camera hehe he totally got bird face while i look like siao zhar bo! u can click to see more clearly haha...

waited for the fireworks at 9pm and it was awesome! fireworks against the sleeping beauty castle, very romantic! i gave the fireworks a miss the 1st time i was there with sis cause we went at 9am and by 6pm, we were too tired already and headed back without watching the fireworks...

i brought this darling winnie home! he's huge and very huggable!!! =D got another mickey mouse also as i have minnie at home but no mickey! i already told bee bee before going to disneyland that i will certainly overspend at the souvenir shops and buy a lot of bo liao things home haha...

ended the day @ disneyland with more cam whoring!

bubbye disneyland~

no prize for guessing what we had for supper! porridge and dessert! hehe mango juice and rock melon juice this time

Day 7 - 29th July 2008 (Tuesday)

went to london restaurant along nathan road for dim sum! food was definitely better than sg's standards but serenade's dim sum was nicer!

again we looked sleepy

after brunch, we decided that we are quite broke and we went to the bank to exchange some HKD! rates were atrociously low =( but bo bian!

baby wanted to go to temples to sightsee so we went to wong tai sin temple, i had not been here before as well! we have the same surname! haha okay totally random

he also prayed for a divination lot and went to read his divination but it was not very good... but bee nvm la dun sad 听听就算了!

we went to festival walk shopping centre again after that as he wanted to go to the h & m outlet there to look for this pair of pants which ran out of size at the central outlet... but cannot find the pants here also!

and i bought the bobbi brown gel eyeliner at festival walk! it's really very easy to use and wun smudge at all even though i have super oily eyelids! highly recommended! the price was also cheaper than sg!

the bobbi brown very nice! very mini and it's glossy!

after festival walk, we headed to central again for food and more shopping!

done some research and there's quite a lot of nice food @ central... we went there and tried 3 famous foodplaces consecutively! =D shioky pie cause all 3 places were really damn good!!! and the best part is they are all damn near each other, just 1 street apart at most!

1st stop was lan fong yuen @ gage street, famous for their pork chop buns 猪扒包 and pantyhose milk tea 丝袜奶茶! but 1 thing to note, they close quite early at 6pm! the pork chop buns were really really good and 1 is not enough cause it's so tiny!

next stop is mak's noodles @ wellington street... just a 1 minute walk away from gage street! mak's noodles is famous for wanton noodles!

then walked 1 street to reach lyndhurst terrace... tai cheong bakery! hk's most famous egg tarts can be found here! the shop dun look grand at all but the egg tarts were really really good!!! freshly baked from the oven and the crust is the type i like, not the flaky type but the buttery biscuit-ish type hehe! they sell other confectionery as well but we did not really try the others...

anyway in hk, i got addicted to vita lemon tea... must drink at least twice everyday! why sg dun have wa lao!!! i even considered buying 1 carton back but it was too last minute on the last day and we couldn't find places that sold it in cartons nearby... it certainly beats season's ice lemon tea hands down and i hate the latter by the way...

after our eating spree, we went to nike and h & m along queen's road central... we overspent at nike and bought HKD$2000 worth of stuff there =x and we are broke again! but at least we got 2 pair of shoes, 2 gym bags and 1 visor here! i got my red running shoes here and it is love at first sight as well! i am really beginning to like the colour red though i hated it in the past!

next stop is jordan cause we wanna go to the temple street night market and eat the famous 麦文记 wanton noodles there! but we head back to our place first to unload our shopping loots hee

this 麦文记 wanton noodles is not as highly raved as the mak's noodles that we had in the afternoon at central but in my opinion, i think 麦文记 is SLIGHTLY better than mak's! very slight difference! both are on par definitely! 麦文记 is also cheaper haha~

we went to the dessert shop just next to 麦文记 after that... i ordered the almond paste and they have cold almond paste!!! i was damn excited to hear that they have it both hot and cold! 1st time i find cold almond paste lo, normally is hot one... anyway, i took the cold one of course and it's really very smooth and refreshing! highly recommended also!!!

we went to temple street night market and bought some bags for our mums!

headed back to mongkok around 11pm and went to the game arcade at argyle centre and their games looked so fun! they have slots machine and lots of interesting games!!!

bee bee tried this noodle under my recommendation... basically it's cold noodles which u can choose to mix with different fillings like crab meat, octopus, hot dogs, clams etc... it's very popular with the youngsters there!

dessert! aren't the colours pretty =D

Day 8 - 30th July 2008 (Wednesday)

last day already, so sad!!! we slept at 4am the night before cause we were packing our luggages and chatting haha...

went for dim sum brunch at chao inn! this restaurant is also highly raved in forums for its dim sum... it was quite nice! and very cheap also! if u go before 12pm, each dim dum dish is only HKD$10, damn cheap if u ask me!

once again, like yung kee, chao inn was very crowded and they gave us this special VIP table to sit at... we are damn lucky hee!

ordered the usual stuff but didn't order a lot this time round haha...

we headed to their dbs bank branch after that to draw money from their atm cause we are broke again after the nike spree the day before =x

headed to central again after that cause my running shoes were of the wrong size and we wanted to make an exchange... he went h & m 1 last time and even manage to get some more stuff! haha he is totally not sian of that place!

we went to the mid-levels escalator at central! really damn long, i wonder how long it spans! heard that it's the longest escalator in asia

after central, we did some last minute shopping at prince edward and argyle centre... went back our place to take a shower and called for a cab at 5 plus to head to the airport!

heh look at all our loots -_-z both our luggages were full but fortunately, i bought an extra bag along with me... it is a uber big black bag and we placed all the bulky stuff in like the plushies and shoes and what nots... we were so sure that we will need to pay for overweight luggage but the airport guy let us off! haha

the plane schedule display in both english and chinese

checked in our luggages and the leftovers are to be hand-carried... all the macau food stuff la! cause if we check them in, sure cui one, all the biscuits will surely be in crumbles by the time we go back...

olympics countdown @ hk airport

we had dinner at ajisen ramen 1st cause we were totally famished! i wanted to get hang heung 老婆饼 from the airport after that but alas, the shop is at the other terminal and we were rushing to catch the plane =( sad the hang heung 老婆饼 are my favourite!

got up the plane without much glitches, gate was damn near this time hahaha... dun need to walk too far...

bubbye hk~

touched down in sg at around 12 midnight... totally shagged~

had a very fun trip overall but it wouldn't had been possible without baby! i really hope u had as much fun as me and may this signifies a great start for your 4 years of uni life... i love love u! =D

and phew i finally got this entry out hahaha...

P.S when we got home, we realized baby mixed up the locks for his luggage and my black bag haha and it was just too bad that we couldn't unpack our new loots until a few days later as we are not free for the next few days to exchange keys!
