gonna blog about the genting trip i went with chingz darling from mon to thurs... hehe...
MoNdAy
packed my stuff last minute in the morning cause too lazy to do so over the weekend... =x then went to darling's house around 3pm to place my bag there first...
we went to plaza singapura's carrefour to buy dried mangoes to eat on the bus =p cause the dried mangoes there is nice! each of us bought $8 worth of dried mangoes... then shopped around somemore for snacks to eat on the bus and stuff la... looked around for money changer also...
around 6pm we went to eat an early dinner at ajisen... =) long time never eat that with her le!
we then took a bus down to suntec to look for money changer again cause we wanna compare the rates... it is indeed higher at suntec... =)
afterwhich we went to starbucks to slack... i had iced cocoa... super chocolatey... nice!
then went back to her house to get our stuff and off we go at around 9 plus... took a cab to lavender mrt where we are supposed to board the bus... our bus ticket
the bus was quite spacious
but it's quite hard to sleep too comfortably as our legs can't be entirely straight though there's a leg rest... hehe but well, did managed to get 2-3 hours of sleep...

then off to sleep... drifted in and out of it... reached genting at around 4.30am... =x abit too early so we went to walk around the quiet first world plaza and took pictures of some of the indoor theme park rides...

we then headed to macdonald's for breakfast around 5am as it is open 24 hours... tried the breakfast meals... their breakfast meals are different from singapore in the sense that the meal consist of 2 drinks... haha... and it still costs cheaper than sg's mac breakfast... value for money!
after finishing eating, it was only around 7am... we headed to the genting hotel lobby to catch some winks on the sofa in the hotel lobby but the security guard there told us we can't sleep on the sofa in the hotel lobby... so we struggled to keep awake... can't check in as no rooms available yet and the earliest check in time is 10 plus...
until 8 plus, the counter receptionist took pity on us and gave us another empty bigger room instead of the orginal room that was supposedly issued to us... many thanks to him! =)

they have 2 queen sized beds in the room! *gRiNz* went off to sleep after that and had some good rest... woke up and we went exploring around the area...
have to walk by a good deal of escalators to reach first world plaza from genting hotel(the hotel we living in)... saw an interesting dustbin on the way there...

then we went have lunch at this noodle shop... had unagi udon... hee...
after that we just went shopping... bought a pair of shorts, a skirt and a top...

then passed by the bowling alley and it's cheap over there... so we went in to play 2 games... long time no play but still as fun =)
dinnertime next! we took a long time to decide what to eat cause there's nothing much that looks appealing... went to this chinese foodplace...

saw this super cute signboard while walking around after dinner (there's a statue blocking it =x)
bought some fruits and fruit juice and went back to the hotel... the fruits and juices are super cheap and worth it... watched tv back at the hotel... slept quite early around 10 plus for i didn't get much sleep on the bus the night before...

woke up at around 8 plus to bathe and go to the theme park! =)

by then, also about 3pm le... we went indoor to have our lunch... found this place that serves decent food =) and the waiters there are "interesting" i shall say =p

we then went to watch a 4D show... super lame... haha still squirt water and wind at u de... after that around 7 le and it's our last dinner at genting so we went to find something nicer to eat... setttled for kenny roger's... and their kenny roger's is so damn cheap! for the quarter chicken with 3 side dishes, muffin and a drink only costs us slight less than $10... what the hell! how to find such prices in singapore... =p and the food tasted nice too... think this is the most worthwhile meal we eaten there le...

after dinner there's nothing much to do so we went walk around and bought fruits and juices back to the hotel... then we went out again for a walk to enjoy the air and stuff cause last night le... but before that we started to cam whore in the hotel room first... =p

ThUrSdAy
we went lunch and shopping in the afternoon... bought some stuff mostly at nike and went to find some food to munch on the bus trip back... bought drinks from starbucks =)

haha... we never slept on the bus trip back at all... talked all the way! dunno where we go find so many things to talk about... =p then the bus stopped for dinner at the toilet stops lo... we only reached singapore customs around 10 plus lidat... hehe... then we shared cab home le... waited for a cab for very long... reached home also 12 lidat le...
had a nice trip this time! thanks darling for all the fun... =) hope we can go overseas again next time...
