hiyaz diary...

exams are over yesterday! =) biz law was hard but well it's over!

finally saw dearie after the exam... =) can't resist giving him a big bear hug when i first saw him but duhz someone so not enthu at first... s-p-o-i-l-e-r =x

we went to buy some of his things at watson's and guardian first and he showed me his various injuries... his blister is like so damn big on his leg with blood inside... i first time see blister with blood one instead of the clear liquid... and there's a deep hole on his finger... see le so gross can! can see the raw flesh one... yikez...

we went mos burger for dinner or rather supper cause it was already like 10pm already... he updated me with stories... rather interesting i shall say... the expeditions like damn tough...

rather late after we finished talking... we headed to the bus stop and i gave him the letters i wrote for him everyday while he's gone cause i know i sure wun remember a thing to update him if i dun write it down... lolz and it's my turn to update him about my stories for the 12 days with some help from the letters...

memory is failing me and thankfully, i wrote it down... cause when i read together with him the letters, i myself dun even remember that certain things happened... i am getting senile, how!!!

anyway, welcome back home dearie =)

today morning the weather was damn good for sleeping! cool and rainy outside... being covered under the blanket damn cozy! =)

supposed to meet dearie early morning for breakfast and swimming but the bed was so cozy that i just continued sleeping... so pig can... slept for another hour plus... hehe... in the end, i spoilt his plans... =x

anyway weather was bad! so i suggest we go shopping instead... haha...

went to town area at 2 plus and had our lunch at wisma...

shopped around wisma but saw nothing in particular... headed to far east but same case there!

then we decided to go vivo instead... went to candy empire first cause haven went there before so far! bought jelly beans and some mint sweets that i liked since primary school but is so damn rare to find in supermarkets like ntuc, cold storage etc... manz the jelly beans damn nice and gave us lots of laughs! zi high over simple thing - jelly beans... hee...

saw a tutorial mate in uni at vivomart... we are all buying mineral water... such a small world! i saw them some time ago in town also... lolz... talked a bit...

after that, saw nana with her sis at one of the shops as well... =)

by the end of the day, dearie bought a shirt and i bought a dress... hee... happy with our purchases! but our legs are like aching... haha...

we tried for the mastercard lucky draw after that... felt so weird with my colleagues serving me... lolz... but gonna work with them again tml... =) anyway, we won a mug haha... pure luck okiez! nv conspire with my colleagues one... =p

around 9 we headed to plaza singapura for dinner cause dun really feel like eating at vivo...

headed home after that cause we are both tired...

saw another uni tutorial mate on the train... today see so many people! and he live near me so we talked on the journey home... this one just came back from pa tuo-ing as well, same as the guy i saw earlier at vivo... so of course kanna grilled by me... lolz... since i so kaypoh!!! hehe...

my legs aching now lo... tml working still have to stand quite a bit... lolz hopefully after a night's sleep it will be ok le...

had a happy day today cause everything was so carefree... no exams stress or whatever is there to bother me... can enjoy to the max! =)

okiez... going watch dvd le... for those peeps who like to watch hk serials, go watch "to grow with love" got myolie wu and andy hui... it's DAMN funny...

feeling so relaxed and calm now! =)

just came back home from work... hehe... 2nd day of work today! was rather boring on the whole but ocassionally can get very busy also! slowly getting the hang of work!

haha realised the feeling of knocking off from work is a damn good feeling!

dearie's coming back tml! though i dunno what time...

somehow, what i feel is really contradictory! really looking forward to getting his call or message tml to tell me he's back... but i also scared tml he will tell me too tired then can't meet... =(

is like looking forward to something so much and getting disappointed in the end... so i think i shan't expect too much and just like what nana taught me, brainwash myself that we are not meeting tml just in case... but so hard lehz!!! i am still kinda happy...

but i still got bad feeling cause past experiences was bad! i hope history dun repeat itself! the last time when we finally meet up after not meeting for quite some time, the day ended in tears... =x oh no~ i am starting to feel not so calm anymore... haha...

silly me! why am i so uptight over this! lolz...

on the bright side, tml marks the end of exams and the start of hols! =)

here i am again! haha to blog about yesterday and today!

yesterday had my 2 most worrying exams all at one shot... haha rather relieved after everything!

went meet carina after that at cineleisure... we went watch happy feet... it's quite cute la... worth watching i guess cause it's longer than most animation movies... and the baby penguins are cute!!! quite funny also...

after that we went hk cafe for dinner... i absolutely love that place know hehe...

i had curry chicken with bread... the bread is the kind i like... sweet-tasting and fluffy! =)

we sat there for 3 hours plus! chatted and stuff... took some photos... but i shall post it together another day cause some photos in carina's phone and i haven got them from her! and i admit i am feeling lazy now... =x

okiez then we went home around 11 i think...

then now about today! first day of work... is carina intro me this job yesterday... haha... i got alot things say abt the job but i really damn lazy to type now lehz... but basically is at vivocity mastercard thingy la...

i feeling damn sleepy le lo... lolz... go off le... end so abruptly... i will blog again and post photos soon! when i regain my energy tml!

spent the most of today studying... brain saturated now can... somemore i hate both subjects that's gonna be tested tml... financial management and human resource management...

i repeat, I LOATHE THOSE 2 SUBJECTS... =( one i dun understand, one got so many sub-categories to memorize, sick in the mind! studying for them is such a drag

can't wait for tml to be over! and then it's self-declared holidays though monday still got 1 last paper! but gonna be open book so not too much stress there...

mummy bought me one full bag of marshmallows from mini toons a few days ago... i eat a little of it everyday while studying... they are in pretty pastel-coloured heart shapes... =)

it was full to the brim at first! but i ate about 1/4 of the bag already and used another 1/4 for the "masterpiece" in the next picture

just now while studying for fm, i got so bored that i did this using marshmallows...

haha nice? okiez la i know it's not much of a masterpiece cause can't really make out the words also but i spent 15 minutes on it just arranging and another 15 minutes taking photos... so cut me some slack la... at least the pastel colours pretty mahz right? =p

and yeah, i sorta missed him today...

okiez... back to studying!

today's saturday! hee... and i shall blog about food again!

i went for dim sum lunch with sis and some of her colleagues at orchard hotel's chinese restaurant...

they were praising it to the heavens to me while walking there... i had my doubts at first cause so far, the nicest dim sum i ever eaten was in hong kong and haven found any dim sum in singapore that even comes close...

but this restaurant proved to me that nice dim sum in sg does exist! it's like the nicest dim sum i ever tasted in singapore! haha... it's like on par with hong kong dim sum's standard can! which is a rather rare occurence in singapore... lolz...

i just remembered another nice dim sum place is goodwood park hotel, but this orchard hotel is even better =)

anyway, we ordered quite a lot of things... got some dishes not even dim sum! can't really remember what and i only take pictures of some dishes only... got the basic har gow siew mai, char siew bao, fried beancurd roll with prawns, mango chicken pie, char siew rice roll, carrot cake, yam fritter, century egg porridge, peking duck, fried squid, egg tarts(my fav dim sum dish) blah blah blah u get my point

peking duck! haha by right got cucumber and some weird veggie but i eaten the cucumber and gave away the weird veggie so left this, looks kinda ugly but tasty nonetheless!

the plate had 10 egg tarts at first, was forced to eat 4 of them cause the others simply can't eat anymore cause this was the last dish...

after that was damn damn full... i went shopping with sis to digest! we went far east first... looking for a waisted belt for a loose dress but found nothing suitable! so we took a bus to bugis... went parco first and i bought a pretty brown long sleeved top... it was such a good deal cause it's at 50% off... hehe... shopping always makes me happy!

sis then bought a skirt as well... and she became happy also lolz...

then we went over to bugis village side... after lots of walking + oohing and aahing at the clothes we like, i finally bought my belt hehe... exactly what i am looking for... =)

downside is, it's rather crowded and thus hot! but the crowd was not as bad as the last time i went there...

anyway, after that, we left and went to boon keng meet mummy... 2 of us were still so full that we never eat dinner... went for meeting there and then it's home sweet home!

sister bonding day today haha... i love my sis! we never ever quarrel probably because of our large age gap (11 years) + her good temper... it's my blessing to have a sis who dotes on me so much! big kisses and hugs to her! hee

mugged a bit at home before heading to dearie's house for lunch... somehow slacked the noon away and then i studied a bit bit at his house also... went for dinner after that with his parents... and he booked back in camp!

TuEsDaY
went to watch step up at night at cineleisure... the show was good!

was feeling rather guilty as i was travelling to orchard cause i felt that i should be at home studying for the wednesday exam...

thankfully the show was good and made my guilty thoughts go away!

WeDnEsDaY
took my first official exam in uni ever... information technology... not too sure how it went... some parts i just smoked through... but couldn't really be bothered about it cause i was too pissed about my forgetfulness after the exam!!!

i was supposed to return hostel keys by yesterday as 15th nov was the deadline... and i actually blur until forget to bring the keys to school!!! argh...

i called the hall office up and they WOULDN'T let me go back on monday to return it, in other words, give me a few days' grace... why monday some may ask, because my next paper is only on monday!!! and the next time i will be travelling to school is only on monday!!!

then they say will charge me $7 per day if i return on monday since i didn't return by the deadline... no way am i going to pay $28 for some room i didn't stay in!

so although i am full of grumbles, i unwillingly went back home from sch after my paper and travelled back to sch again to return the damn keys! that's like 3 hours plus of my time altogether! damn! still planning go home after the paper to take a nap cause i only slept 4 hours the night before... all plans to nap thwarted! *gRuMbLes*

the only saving grace of the day was meeting dearie for lunch at jurong point's crystal jade after my paper... just nice his camp is nearby and he can come out for lunchie... our last meal together before he goes off to OBS for 12 days... =( damn, 12 days without contact... the last time, it was 7 days of field camp and it was bad enough... lolz, but i know these 12 days will come and pass albeit how difficult it might be...

besides, it falls exactly on my exam period... haha he's gone on the day i start my first paper and back on the day i end my last paper... what great timing!

he booked in after our lunch and i proceeded home to get the keys... =(

the trip to ntu for the second time was rather unsmooth... lolz, whatever can happen wrongly happened wrongly... puts me in a bad mood! but can only blame myself for being forgetful in the first place...

and did i mention i left my water bottle in the exam hall under the table... forgot take out... =<>

went meet ll at ps after returning keys for dinner... she suggested going to cartel... still remember some entries back, i swore off western food like cartel, swensens, nydc etc after the vomitting + stomachache incident after eating at one particular western restaurant...

but not vey nice to say i dun wan cartel to her so i just had dessert there! cause even looking at the main course menu makes me think of the incident and totally ruined my appetite... i had waffles with peaches, bananas and vanilla ice cream... yummy...



chatted for awhile cause it had been so longgg since we met up... we then went walking around after that... i went carrefour again to buy dried mangoes and raisins... they are the best and yet also the cheapest around i should say! best money for quality!

well in the end, my day was balanced out with bad things and good things i guess... lolz so it turned out ok...

i am starting to miss dearie already even though barely half a day passed by... was rather sad when he called me the last time just now before leaving... faster come back safely in 1 piece!

gonna start studying again these few days and prepare for the exams next week! i noticed some people in my class is rather uptight about exams, they looked so stressed that my heart went out to them... why be so hard on ourselves? maybe something is wrong with my can't really be bothered attitude... i dunno what's wrong with me...

but honestly, i think this is nothing compared to the stress level during the jc years especially year 2... maybe that's why i am taking it easier now... haha... someone knock some sense into me so maybe i will study harder...

chingz darling is back! i am so gonna catch up with u soon/after exams so i can hear your stories!

today tried to study at home early noon but failed badly lolz... too distracted by everything...

went out with dearie around 4 plus... we went to vivocity... walk walk around... had a hard time finding the shops we want there... too messy and crowded!

wanted to eat marche only to realise it is not opened yet... so in the end, we decided to go sushi tei... queued for slightly less than half hour before we got seats... but in the end, the wait was worthwhile...

we had a very nice and sumptuous dinner! that's why i love sushi tei! for their food! had lots of laughs cause he keep cracking stupid lame jokes! laughed till i accidentally spill green tea out while drinking... =x damn er xin... =p

his ebi don, doesn't really look appealing cause he started eating before i can take picture and all the stuff was hastily arranged back =p

last but not least, my favourite dessert of sushi tei---> chocolate coated vanilla ice cream with wafer, the chocolate is subtle and crunchy with it being hidden under the wafer...

after eating we went shopping around again for awhile... headed outside to the st james power house side... there's this quite nice linkway there...

and i just realized i blogged about food again... haha gluttony me! =p but i love jap food! =)

just finished revising a chapter of financial management... killed all my brain cells... i loathe that subject with a vengeance honestly...

spent most of the weekend at home... studied a bit bit... =) i will try to work harder de though i am still slacking for these few days... oh no~

met dearie after lessons at outram around 4 on monday and went ps to eat first before heading to cathay to watch the guardian... not too bad a show i think cause it made me cry at the end... haha... so saddening =( besides, it's the type of show i like...

one of my reason for liking chrismas is the seasonal drink by starbucks! peppermint mocha frap! every christmas season they will have it... and only the christmas season... so i always look forward to drinking it... saw it at the cathay's starbucks and was so excited... hehe... shared with him the drink... as nice as always... =) i am a sucker for peppermint... haa...

went ps again eat dinner after the show...

then we went to play pool at this ulu pandan shopping centre called singapore shopping centre... didn't know that building is called that until yesterday... he continued to teach me how to play... i think i am starting to like pool! hehe... too bad the pool shop closed kinda early... only managed to play for like half an hour...

he went home after that while i headed back to hostel... i am moving out soon, having mixed feelings... but still, since i had already withdrawn, shan't regret anymore!

today had lesson as usual but only have one morning lesson cause no more lectures le for this last week of school...

had mac breakfast as i walked to my tutorial room... done this endless times every thursday... taking the same route, eating the same old egg mcmuffin... as mentioned, moving out of hall soon, i wonder if i still have this chance to do so next time so i am doing it today also even though it's a tuesday... this simple little pleasure is something i enjoyed tremendously... haha

maybe it's the tranquility of the tuesday 8.30 am morning as there was not much people taking that route as compared to thursday 10.30 am morning, today's routine seemed much more enjoyable than the thursday ones... =) i wonder if i am making sense to people here... haha

anyway stoned through the tutorial cause simply had too little sleep the night before...

finally, it's the end! took the mrt with 3 others... went to dearie's house straight after school...

bought lunch and watched dvd! finally finished the last 3 episodes of "devil beside you"... we had been watching that show for the longest time i think, always no time to finish watching...

starting another show together soon... i hope that show will be nicer, got the dvds already... this devil beside u was kinda boring towards the end, kinda relieved to end it today... phew~

slacked after that, what a lazy afternoon... waited for his parents to come home and went for dinner together...

after that, i went back his house and watched tv with him for 2 hours till 9 plus... hee, slack manz... should i feel guilty for slacking so much today and not studying?

home now and my brain tells me it's time to try to do the fm tut for tml... but i am dead tired... =x well well~ shall see how later =p

slept quite late last night cause baked cookies... =x i started off quite late around 10 plus 11 as i assumed i can finish around 12 plus but i forgot the cookies mould need cooling so will take more time in between batches... in the end, only finished everything around 2 plus am but no regrets! cause nothing compares to the smell of freshly baked cookies! =)

had tuition this morning... yawning away... the very very last tuition already cause primary school finished exams on thursday! and i am officially jobless from now on...

no need go back school after tuition as today's lesson is cancelled cause teacher not free!

had breakfast with my parents and baby kylie... she's getting cuter day by day! love her to bits... i wish she will grow up soon then i can start bringing her out to shop and play... hehe

went home and tried to study abit but i ended up sleeping... haha... had a 2 hours nap! nice~

went to somerset meet dearie after that... kinda looking forward to today cause it's our month-niversary(i invented this myself lolz, paiseh if it sounds crappy =x cause i felt the word anniversary like use for year lehz, ANNual that's why ANNiversary mahz)... which reminds me of one more thing, he told me his theory of 2 digits when he wished me happy 10 months at 12 midnight... super lame but makes sense... i like the theory!

gave him the cookies i baked as a prezzie (they looked ugly i know =x and irregular size)



BUT he likes it... =)



made me feel that my efforts last night not gone to waste hehe...

went eat dinner at the cine hk cafe again... =x i really like the food there a lot!!! today got order siew mai... nice! we finally got to eat the iced mango dessert also after failing to do so for 2 times in the past... cause we always cancelled our order of that due to no time! always had to rush for movie then no time eat that though we order already...

he suggested having a brain freeze competition... lolz, we gobbled up the ice but no brain freeze! i wonder how it felt like? lolz... sadist huh...

then went for movie, watched a stupid show, (refer to my entry title), it's not even VERY funny... nothing worth mentioning except that the tix for today is cheap compared to weekend... only $5.85 compared to $9.50... haha

walked around and nua after that while deciding what to do... we went cuppage centre play pool or rather he taught me how to play... but i think i suck in it... i am a lousy student... or maybe, just maybe, the teacher is lousy =x hee no la, honestly, problem doesn't lie with him, it's definitely me being a lousy student... haha! lame~
