today keep raining and raining and raining... what a gloomy saturday!

my aunties & cousin came over in the afternoon and together with my mum, we went to compass point...

went to eat and we had lotsa food!

walked around after that but there's nothing much to look at la...

was super bored for the rest of the afternoon...

got out of the house at around 6 plus... my mum went to boon keng for her meeting while i went shopping at vivo on my own... hehe, i had a pretty good time by myself eating ice cream and trying on clothes... =D

wanted to buy this top like a few months ago but i think too ex back then... when i went vivo a few weeks ago, there was a sale and reduction of 10 bucks on this top but still didn't buy... today there's final reduction of another 5 bucks hehe so couldn't resist la!

went to forever 21 after that and i finally found the dress i ordered online in the shop!!! i was so excited when i saw it! haha cause recently, i had been popping in forever 21 quite often to see if i can spot the dress i bought online and try out the size...

finally saw it today & get to try! yay~ at least now i know how it look and feel like in actual life... =p

and now i shall just wait patiently for the item to come! lolz~ and 1 good thing is i bought from online spree for 40 bucks but the shop is selling at 53 bucks...

oh ya, i got my teddy bear biscuits again from candy empire! re-stock my home supply haha!

paid my handphone bill after that, shopped around somemore and headed to boon keng to meet up with my mum after her meeting to go home together...

though it's a short shopping trip, i enjoyed the time to myself... haha =D

shall go watch guess 3 already, nitey all!

i finally finished my harry potter book after procrastinating for so long!

updates about the weekend!

21st July 2007 (Saturday)

made plans with lilian for breakfast at plaza sing... went to collect my harry potter book before meeting her... gosh, at that moment, i can't wait to start the book but i ended up only starting to read it today sighz! i am such a bad harry potter fan lolz!

anyway, we met at kovan and took nel together... went times bookshop which is having 20% storewide over the weekend... she bought the 7th book as well as the front 6 books with the latter having 20%... costs her $146.10... haa and she considered it to be quite cheap considering there's 7 books altogether not forgetting the $50 plus 7th book...

by the time we are done, it was around 12 plus already... so we walked to cine for brunch at xin wang! very empty and so we got cushioned seats...

food was yummy! we talked lots over her stuff!

and how can dun go for some shopping right!

we went taka, wisma & far east i think! they are the only ones i remember now! we both bought a pair of shoes! i finally bought my round toe patent heels... *grinz* =D she got 2 necklaces as well and i also got a belt!

went novena square 2 after that to look for my sis at a hair salon... she's doing rebonding there... i am hungry so i went to this bakery there called mama's bakery for some bread... gosh, the things there are SOOO yummy! i had this cranberry cream cheese bread and cranberry scone! it totally trash 4 leaves's scone and cranberry cheese manz!

headed for ang mo kio after that to priscilla's house for a YWD meeting... it was fun... lots of food!

watched guess 3 on tv for the rest of the night and got no time to read the hp book!

22nd July 2007 (Sunday)

went to plaza sing early in the morning again to watch harry potter & the order of the phoenix with lele... the show was okay la but the ending was kinda sucky cause it's too rushed i think! love some parts of the show though!

after the movie, lele and i rushed to clarke quay to meet the rest of our classmates for jc class outing... that stupid guy keep telling me we are late when we were out of the cinema! anyway, we went to brewerkz! my 1st time there!

dearie came only when we were about to leave cause he had night shift the night before and was catching up on his sleep at home...

all of us walked to central and we took a girls only pic! the group pics are in jenny's camera and i guess i will load it up when i got it from her!

the rest went off and left only me and him... so we caught the nel to town... went dhoby ghaut's carrefour to grab some sushi and drinks! ate while we walked to cine... caught my 2nd movie of the day - invisible target... thought it's some sucky movie but damn, i find it even nicer than the harry potter movie which i watched earlier on in the day!

played pool after that before heading home! once again, didn't get to read hp book...

23rd July 2007 (Monday)

no tuition day and his off day so i went his house to have breakfast... the fishball noodles he intro-ed me did stunned me a little... it was fantastic!

went to the gym around noon!

after a nice bath! i think my fringe looks weird here cause it's wet haha...



went back his house for him to change before heading out!

got bo liao waiting at the bus stop and started cam whoring

went far east for fruits... the honeydew there never seems to fail me! super sweet always!

bought lilian's birthday prezzie as well there... just so happen that she say she like it on saturday while shopping of her so i thought of getting it for her birthday!

met up with wing tong at orchard mrt to help him pass a prezzie to ll... we caught up with him a bit before heading to suntec to pass ll her 2 birthday prezzies! i hope she likes the surprise as well as the prezzies... too bad she got to rush for lessons after that or we could had talked more...

so walked around suntec marina square trying to look for my tinkerbell platform wedges but damn all no size already... argh! i kinda regret not buying back then... now no size le then i gian! serves me right!

played pool at marina square... i seriously hope to be able to play well one day! haha

had a late dinner around 9 plus at the food loft... the roasted delights there are simply the best!i rarely eat roasted delights outside cause they were seldom up to standard! but he intro-ed me this stall, we tried it once sometime ago and i am hooked! duck + char siew rice... practically drooling when i am thinking about it now!

it looks ugly but it's the tastiest duck + char siew rice ever, i swear!



anyway, i was dead beat when i reached home probably cause of the gym session and i slept around 12 plus which is early for me since nowadays i always sleep around 2 3 am... i didn't get to read harry potter again and by this time, i had already heard a few spoilers and i was damn determined to finish it soon so i wun get spoilers everywhere!

24th July 2007 (Tuesday)

chiong-ed to finish the book today and i did! haha amidst the tuition and all other nitty gritty stuff! yay! the book was quite awesome! my favourite book of the series used to be the goblet of fire but i think it has changed to this last book!

anyway, he suddenly called me around 11 plus pm and told me he thinks i look like a stupid rabbit! after that on msn, he provided illustration somemore... (click to enlarge)

hee had a packed and happy weekend! but i shan't blog about it first cause i have quite some pics to load and some updates to type and i dun really have time...

i had been too busy playing and going out over the weekend so till now, i haven even finished my harry potter book... hence, finishing that book is my top priority now hehe!

went to bugis for dinner... chicken rice, hor fun and fishballs... gosh my hor fun sucks



we walked to suntec from bugis after that... he went G2000 and bought pants hee! we had been going to quite a lot of branches but all dun have his size... finally found them at suntec's branch...

initially, i wanted to go to this popular/harris book fair at suntec convention centre but the newspapers & website stated that it will start 20th july which is tomorrow so i thought i will have to come back again tomorrow...

but today, i already saw people carrying popular/harris plastic bags... so we went up to the exhibition hall to take a look and it turned out that the book fair already started today!

so yay! we spent an hour plus there just choosing our books, by the time we are done, already 10pm le... there's 1 for 1 offer for fiction books & some other discounts for the other books... we bought 11 books at the end of it all & spent a 100 bucks here... happy with our books!



went for supper at raffles link's xin wang hk cafe as i didn't eat much of the sucky hor fun earlier on... the egg & ham sandwich i had was fab! koped a bit of his mee sua also! somehow the mee sua here is different from the one at cine... haha... different style!

home after that! i wanna go tinkerbell soon and get my wedges slip ons!!! wanted to go today de but spent too much time at the book fair... i shall get it over the weekend hopefully!

i finally get to eat BK breakfast today hehe! reached tamp at 11.05am but he reached earlier and bought for us already... if not, i think i will miss it again!

walk around tamp after that, it's boring today!

gym-ed! saw 2 fellow meridians as well... wondering how come they got no NS as we saw them last week also... turned out all of them police one and doing shift work, same as dearie... no wonder can turn up at the gym during weekdays

went for lunch and then to his house to bathe and rest... i am feeling so tired around 3 plus but i still gotta go for tuition... feeling so sianz but bo bian! wondering how to survive 2 sessions of 2 hours! tuition bore me till death seriously!

anyway, i finished re-reading harry potter & the half blood prince yesterday... memory is now refreshed... can't wait for the last book to be out this saturday! but i dun think i will be able to finish the last book by this weekend... got a meeting on sat night and jc class outing on sun... no time to read!

really excited about the book for i can't wait to know the ending... but then again, after the book is finished, there will be no more harry potter books to look forward to already!

.::Shoppinggg Part 2 Part 3::.

saturday was part 2 of shopping spree at town with him... he bought a yellow shirt from topman... i love the colour so much! i can't really remember what we did the whole day except that time seems to pass by very fast

today i woke up super late at 1pm... sis-in-law toasted bread for me and added otah... the bread is so nice!!! crispy outside and soft inside, together with the otah is simply heavenly!

met up with sis & mum at suntec around 4pm... we walked to marina to look at shoes as i really wanted a pair of black patent pumps...

went to the toilet before that and i saw this girl wearing a very nice pair of wedge slip ons! by chance, she lifted her foot and i saw that it was from tinkerbell... so after the toilet trip, we went to tinkerbell, hehe!

all 3 of us saw shoes we like but never buy though there was this promotion whereby 3 pairs of shoes will be $49.90 instead of the usual $19.90 per pair...

after marina, we went back to suntec again... donut factory's queue here seems to be shorter than the one at raffles city shopping centre... haha...

went macpherson jackson's place after that to meet him & his family for his sister's birthday dinner... had chilli crab, veggie, assorted ngor hiang, stingray & clams... the crab's pincer is HUGE with a capital H!

both of us took a bus to town after dinner to play pool...



i think he's getting more and more tanned since he goes sentosa very frequently nowadays... our skin colour is like so much difference!

anyway, at cine, we passed by tinkerbell again and i tried on the pair of wedge slip ons again to show him... hee i still didn't buy but actually right now, i'm still thinking about it... i think i am gonna get it the next time i pass by tinkerbell haha!

oh yeah, i got trashed by him in pool after that... AGAIN and quite badly also this time round, damn it!

then this afternoon, i was telling my mum and sis i ordered 3 bags online... they got very interested and my mum keep asking me to show her the webbie when i get home so she can order too...

just now when i came back, i showed her the webbie and she actually chose 5 bags!!! -_-~ but i QC-ed for her and narrow it down to 2 of which i like 1 of it too so i am gonna get her to share with me, yay!



i like this 2nd design, especially the bag handle hehe... we are getting the white one if the bronze one is out of stock...



i hope i dun get my mum started on online bag shopping... if not my house's mailbox is gonna be flooded with bags lolz~

on a side note, i had been shopping quite alot this weekend and at times, i feel very very guilty about it... cause i keep thinking of this ex classmate that's facing a serious problem and not having a very smooth journey in life right now and yet i am still happily shopping... it just felt wrong! i am like weird right? but i am not very close to her so i dunno what i can do for her also... just feel very sad for her, sighz!

alrighty... guess i should go sleep already, it's already 3 plus in the morning...

i had such a shopping spree today! haha... but that was at night!

for the afternoon, i met him at tamp for subway... after eating, i still think tampines has the best subway ever among all other franchises... their sandwich standard is slightly higher! =D couldn't resist the oatmeal raisin cookie also!

went to tamp mall to walk 1 round for digestion before hitting the gym! hee i am so in love with the gym now!

after gym-ing, bathed and went to meet my sis at vivocity for shopping while he headed home as he got night shift tonight... wanted to go shopping because i read the newspapers that topshop starting their sale today, hehe!

went candy empire while waiting for my sis to reach and i bought another kind of teddy bear biscuits! arnott's brand too but comes in a box instead of small little packets! bought this bubbly mint chocolate as well which is very interesting as apparently, the mint inside the chocolate will melt in bubbles in your mouth!

after sis had reached vivo, we went thai express for dinner... i had glass noodles in seafood tom yum soup the last time and it was not too bad! this time i tried stick noodles instead of glass noodles and it's even better! love the stick noodles!

after dinner is shopping time!!! we only managed to go to 3 shops - zara, topshop & pull & bear... we simply spent too much time at each shop - 50 mins for zara, half an hour for topshop & another half an hour at pull & bear...

we bought things from every shop! spend like mad!

zara - we tried on 12 tops here lolz...

loot: 2 shorts - 1 black, 1 white

this purchase made me very happy cause the last time i saw this pair of white shorts, it was on sale, $34.90 reduced to $29.90 but i didn't buy after considering very long... today there's further reduction and only $16.90! super glad!

and today, i saw a black one on top of the white one... was thinking which colour to buy and i realize even if i buy 2, it's almost the same price if i had bought it at $29.90 so i got both, haha!

next stop topshop - tried on some things but didn't find them very nice... my sis was trying this black tunic and it turned out to be a jersey playsuit! it didn't look like a playsuit at all and it deceived us until she tried it & found out... cute!

she looked too skinny in it somehow so she throw to me to try! i loved it! so cute & comfy! there's 30% discount & additional 10% if one uses ur UOB credit card so sis bought it for me as i dun have the card hehe! she bought a white spag top but is non-sale item, boo! haha...

oh ya, i saw ll at topshop too! we were still messaging each other before that and we dun even know we are both at vivocity...

last stop pull & bear - we tried 4 tops & 2 dresses

i loveee the kimono top so much! best buy for today but sis likes my white dress better!

it was almost 10pm after this and i dun even dare to go in forever 21 for fear of my wallet... lolz... so we went to gloria jean's coffee for a drink!

i had hot chocolate with marshmallows! i requested for SOY milk and they gave me SOYAbean milk... but the taste is not too bad actually, quite unique, very different from starbucks' soy milk hot choc... i like both!



chit-chatted with my sis about alot of things... her past relationships, my brother's past relationships, funny things that happened during our childhood... the things we shared were sooo funny!

i love my sis!

we headed home around 11 plus... i am happy with my shopping purchases! yay! but i think i spent too much SO i shall try not to spend so much for the rest of the month! key word is try!

hee i am in such a good mood right now! just did some online shopping for bags!haha... the bag spree was just closed when i was browsing through the online catalogue... i wanted the bags sooo much so i emailed the organizer and ask her if still can take in somemore orders... hee thankfully she said yes! yay~




hope they wun be out of stock! will know in a few days time soon when the spree organizer gets back to me! anyway i think that model is damn chio!

just 1 week ago, i ordered a f21 dress online from sgspree and now this bags... i hope i am not addicted to online shopping, haha! i think i will still much rather prefer real shopping!

this is the f21 dress i bought! now that i look at it, i think it's an impulse buy... oh manz, i hope it will look nice when it arrives!



oh ya, last night, i made plans with him to have bk breakfast today morning before hitting the gym as it's his off day and just nice my tuition for today was cancelled!

unlike monday, i did wake up in time today, he did too... BUT just when i was about to bathe, i got this terrible out-of-the-world stomachache! almost keeled over in the toilet manz lolz... hardcore pain!

lied on bed like a sick dog after that and it rained! so obviously, i missed my breakfast again! oh why oh why! looks like i am not fated with bk breakfast... haha...

after the stomachache got better, i went to get ready and cabbed to his house... reached around 12 plus and bought his lunch for him...

kept listening to the song umbrella by rihanna at his house... oh manz, the remix version is damn nice! initially, i quite of like it already... then i listened to it while reading the lyrics online! woahz! power effect! now the song is stuck in my head the whole day!

went to the gym after that... stomach still feeling queasy but ah ignored it! haha... i had kaya toast for high tea after that at tamp's eastlink food court... it is so so power!!! crispy on the outside, soft on the inside! plus a steaming cup of milo! hehe perfect!

headed back to his house to bathe... we planned to go town after that but last minute, he got a call and gotta go work night shift to cover up for somebody... boo! so we just packed our stuff and went out for a quick dinner!

we wanted to go taka to eat initially so we sat on the bus watching novena and newton mrt pass by before reaching far east plaza... after newton mrt, he then suggested why not go novena eat instead cause no time... lolz... so we still took the bus to orchard before taking the train to novena... so damn stupid!

went to ajisen as both of us felt like eating that! walked him in later and i went shopping alone, hee!

oh i forgot if i had mentioned i bought some books on monday from popular as i won some cash vouchers and 25% discount vouchers when i pre-ordered the harry potter book... so i thought i will put the vouchers to good use before they expire on 31st July!

and here are my books! all chick lit! typical me! haven start reading them as i am now in the process of re-reading harry potter & the half blood prince so as to refresh my memory for the last book that's coming out this month!



i love the book cover of "the love academy"! it's so so pretty! there's even glittery stars! haha...

i am a happy happy girl now!
