i could barely get to sleep last night... laid in bed till 4 plus in the morning before i drifted off to sleep...
been thinking about my life the whole night and since i can't sleep, i ended up reading my written diary that i had kept since j1 and alot of phone messages that i had saved...
seldom write in that diary cause i got a blog here afterall and i find it easier to type... but will write in the book during extreme cases, i.e super happy or super sad...
and reading them triggered my memory on certain events that i had long forgotten... and i realized all the people around me had changed... "change is the only constant"
mum woke me up at 10am to go out together with my dad, sis, sis-in-law & kylie... not enough sleep, a headache and swollen eyes isn't really the best way to wake up!
sis-in-law suggested going to siglap road for the famous yong tau hoo! coincidentally, i remember reading about this restaurant on a blog! the link is here
anyway, it's quite good! and i realized there are loads of nice food there when we drove past the whole stretch of road... i wanna go there again someday for a food trip! haha...
went to bugis for shopping after that... i was at bugis yesterday too so it got kinda boring! went for dessert again at liang seah street when i had it just yesterday also but i wun say no to yummy dessert! =D
kylie is learning how to walk and today is the 1st time she walked outside!
bought a pair of shoes from bugis village... black & transparent patent kitten pumps... super happy with it cause i saw the same design at far east selling at an exorbitant price and i got it so much cheaper here at bugis =D
went to heeren after that cause sis-in-law bought a dress at bugis but that branch dun have new piece anymore but heeren do have new piece so she went down to collect it...
was playing with kylie through the transparent sensor at the shop's entrance... damn retarded! but kylie loves it! =D
drove to chinatown after that for dinner with my bro and bro-in-law (they went for golf at JB together in the morning & just came back)
while waiting for them to meet us, the girls of my family went chinatown point for shopping... we went to the usual shop we go to everytime and sis bought a retro design dress for me, i love the design!
we went mosque street for steamboat buffet... the food's pretty good and the different thing about this steamboat is that everyone gets an individual small pot instead of the big pot in the middle... so whatever you cook, u dun need scared will get lost in the big pot of soup and keep digging around in the soup... haha...
we ate from 6 plus till 8 plus... pretty hardcore cause we keep on ordering... =D
headed home after that and they are now playing mahjong... hehe...
i missed watching the national day parade fireworks! but i enjoyed the family time today though my eyes were like hurting the whole time and i keep yawning away!
today felt more like a saturday than a thursday... i love long weekends!
