.::Taiwan 2012 Day 2 - Kaohsiung::.

Day 2 - 27th Nov 2012 (Tuesday) @ Kaohsiung

took a private van to kaohsiung from kending... ride took about 2 hours and we just slept in the car =p costs NT350 (SGD$16) per pax.

our minsu for the next 2 days was at kaohsiung 85 tower and the room is awesome! we had a private jacuzzi bath big enough for 2 person and massage chair awww~ very much needed for those aching legs after we walked around the whole day =p can choose to switch off the blue LED lights if you find it too distracting which is a nice feature

went out for a late lunch around the area

we then took the KMRT to Yuansu and Shinkuchan shopping street... bought my parka here, cheap cheap ^_^

next is KMRT again to Rui Feng Night Market...this is 1 of our favourite night market in taiwan!!! the others that we like are shida and shihlin night market but shall leave that in the later entries :) rui feng nm is closed on monday and wednesday every week so take note, don't go on those days! we like this night market as the lanes are well organized and there is a good variety of food, shopping and games!

and we had lots of random snacks as we combed the night market

tried our hands at prawning! NT100 (SGD$4.30) for 7 rods. if the hook break then too bad =p baby caught 1 prawn while i caught none :( but the kind stall owner caught one for us for free so each of us get to eat 1 prawn!

we also went around the stalls playing silly games that we wouldn't usually play lol... got hooked to darts recently (played too much at clarke quay beer market =p) so we got very excited at this game stall where you can throw darts at balloons. i think playing at this stall kinda convinced us i got hidden talent in darts!!! hahaha~

we bought smelly tofu to try and it kinda pwned us. it was so bad that i can't even bring myself to swallow it, felt like we were really eating shit :( why lidattt!!! i tried smelly tofu before 2 years ago and it does not taste as bad, quite ok even... i think the stall we went to is just plain lousy :(((
